Art direction by day, music by night. PRiMe_iLL is a creative force with 20 years in branding, storytelling, and electronic music. A former promoter, he’s worked with some of the biggest names across genres, including D Bridge, Breakage, Klute, Scumfrog, D12 & Obie Trice, Jim Jones, Spice, Shenseea, Hood Celebrity, and Deadmau5. His work in underground bass culture has brought cutting-edge talent to audiences before their careers took off.

After stepping away from the scene in 2007, he built a career in finance and cannabis branding, helping raise over $20 million and securing a board seat at a major cannabis company. Now, he’s back—pushing Canadian drum & bass forward with Freshly Pressed Dubs, a label dedicated to authentic rave culture and boundary-pushing sound.

CHINO

A man of many talents, CHINO has explored a wide range of careers—from automotive mechanic and massage therapist to cannabis sales representative—but his passion for drum & bass has only grown stronger over the years. His journey into the scene began at Toronto’s iconic Guvernment nightclub, where he experienced the Rascalz tearing up the Orange Room with jungle and drum & bass. Since then, he has found himself at the heart of the culture, dancing on stage with some of the biggest DJs and MCs and even making turntable needles skip.

Beyond his deep connection to the dancefloor, CHINO’s love for music extends into production. With a keen ear for bangers and a diverse appreciation of genres, he brings a unique sound to Freshly Pressed Dubs, helping to shape the label’s vision and musical direction.
